SETUP

To ensure the correct setup of the asset, please follow these steps in order:

Step 1)

Make sure the Dissolve-FX Lite package is installed in your project. You can import it using the DissolveFX_Core.unitypackage, or by downloading it from the package manager.

Make sure to import .unitypackage that contains Dissolve-FX Lite files, based on your render pipeline (URP, HDRP, or Built-in) Locate these packages in the main folder named "Dissolve-FX."

If you have purchased the Dissolve FX Master Kit, you can acquire it for free from the asset store.

Before proceeding, get familiar with Dissolve FX Lite, the core shaders of the asset.

Step 2)

Install or verify that you've properly installed the visual effect graph package.

Step 3)

Enable the experimental blocks/operators. Navigate to Edit -> Preferences -> Visual Effects -> Experimental Operators/Blocks to do this.

Step 4)

Import the VFX_Core.unitypackage into your project.

step 5)

Import either the URP.unitypackage or HDRP.unitypackage, depending on the render pipeline you're using.

Step 6)

Ensure that each model you want to support dissolve effects with the VFX graph has the read/write setting enabled. You can do this by navigating to your model inspector and checking the setting.

DEMOS

The asset includes two scenes in the Scenes folder that demonstrate its capabilities: Showcase and Effects Overview. The Showcase scene includes all the shots you can see in the promotional video. To experiment with all available effects, see the Effects Overview scene.
